Released July 7, 2015: a selection of O2 the Good Bad Guy rapping on Paper Son beats, from O2 & Paper Son’s album “Charles” and the O2 the Good Bad Guy albums “One Legged No Handed Backflip Off the Planet” and “Cadi Lean EP”. Plus two remixes from the Charles album.
O2’s timeless style brought us urgent messages of street rhymes, broken relationships and lyrical artistry in his 2009 debut over an eclectic set of beats by Paper Son that were often rooted in Boom Bap/Golden Era aesthetics. The duo continued to create music as O2 branched out with other producers, but you can see that their chemistry of rhymes and beats just works. Here Paper Son’s choices for their “Best Ones”.
